FORMER MARSHAL DIES

April 7, 1912—Ardmore, OK—E. McLamore, a pioneer resident of Ardmore, died at his home here this afternoon of apoplexy.  He has served as a peace office in this section for the last twenty years, first as a deputy marshal under the Paris federal courts which then had jurisdiction over the old Indian Territory and later a deputy under the federal courts established here.  He was appointed as state enforcement office by Governor Cruce, resigning a few months later.
