Roy Manley

Retired deputy U. S. Marshal Roy Manley died November 26, 1961  at Oklahoma City's Veterans Administration Hospital.  He was 68 years old.  Manley had served as chief deputy marshal from 1920 until he retired in 1956.

            He was born in Ninnehak and spent his boyhood years in that community here his father was a pioneer grocer.  Following World War I he went to Oklahoma City and soon afterward became a deputy marshal.

            He is survived hiss wife, Iva, and a sister, Mrs. Clark Beam of Sherman, Texas.
