DEATH OF MR. CANTRELL

 

January 23, 1920—Talihina American—John Cantrell died at his home four miles west of Talihina Tuesday morning, after an illness of some time.  Mr. Cantrell had been a resident of this country for nearly thirty years and was well known and held in high esteem by the entire community.  He served for several years as D. U. S. Marshal when this state was under the Territorial form of government.  He leaves a wife, three sons and two daughters to mourn his death.  The body was laid to rest in the Talihina cemetery Wednesday afternoon.
